Tips and Facts

  • Energy-efficient Equipment

Making a commitment to purchase energy-efficient models could end up saving money in the long run and it’s a good sign of a company’s commitment to saving energy to employees.

  • Watch the Air Conditioning

Only turn on the air conditioning if you really need to. Turning on the air conditioning unnecessarily can increase the energy bill considerably.

  • Product Placement

Don't put hot equipment, such as photocopiers and laser printers, close to cooling vents, as the cooling system will need to work harder.

  • Watch the Lights

Try to avoid using excessive lighting and switch lights off when you leave a room

  • Save Paper

Set all printing and computer settings to double-sided printing. This will instantly reduce the volume of paper used. Reuse scrap paper.
